Guardly runs a small DNS filter on the phone itself, so Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, in-app browsers and incognito tabs all go through it. 675 explicit domains, adult TLDs and their subdomains are blocked by default — and that category is locked on.
Adding a block is instant. Removing one, allowing a site or turning protection off starts a 72-hour wait, then needs a 6-digit one-time code sent to the phone. Long enough for an urge to pass. Nobody holds an early key — not support, not us.
Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo and Yandex are pinned to their enforced safe versions and YouTube runs in Restricted Mode, so filtering happens at the search engine and the browser setting cannot undo it.
VPN, proxy, Tor and DNS-changer sites are blocked, encrypted DNS is closed off, and uninstall protection stops the app being removed quietly. If another VPN replaces the filter, it is logged as a bypass attempt.
