Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Guardly mobile application. By installing or using Guardly you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence
Guardly is provided free of charge during early access, for use on devices you own or are responsible for. You may not resell it, redistribute modified copies of it, or attempt to decompile or reverse engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
The 72-hour rule
You understand that Guardly is designed to be hard to turn off. Loosening protection waits 72 hours and then needs a one-time code, and we cannot shorten that wait, pause it, or issue a code on your behalf. Set Guardly up only on a device where you accept that.
Devices you set up for others
If you install Guardly on a device used by someone else, you are responsible for having the right to do so, and for telling them that it is there. Guardly never reports anyone’s browsing, to you or to anyone.
No guarantee of blocking
Guardly is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. No filter catches everything: new sites appear every day, and some content is served from addresses that also carry ordinary content. Guardly reduces exposure; it does not promise to eliminate it, and it is not a substitute for professional help.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content that was not blocked, for a site that was blocked in error, for the time a removal takes, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Guardly. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Early access
There are no in-app purchases in this version. If paid plans are offered in future — family plans, for example — they will be made through Google Play under Google’s terms, and you will be told before anything is charged.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue Guardly or any of its features at any time.
